Coagulite 2750
Metal Remover
Description
Coagulite 2750 is a non-toxic precipitator of heavy metals from industrial wastewater, including chelated/complexed metals. It is commonly used to replace carbamate chemistry in wastewater treatment programs. When compared to competing chemistries such as carbamate, Coagulite 2750 has more precipitating activity when used at similar dosage rates.
Coagulite 2750 has been formulated to remove heavy metals from industrial process waters including effluents of plating baths, etching solutions, and rinses containing soluble metals. When used properly, Coagulite 2750 has proven effective at removing the following metals to acceptable limits: Ag, Au, Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn.
Key Properties
- Effective at lowering concentration of heavy metals to below discharge requirements
- Product is less toxic than products commonly used for metal removal such as carbamates and other hazardous chemistries
- Proven effective on treating the effluents of plating baths, etching solutions, and rinses as well as other industrial process water
- Effective when treating complexed/chelated metals
- Can be used as the primary metal remover in a treatment program, or as a polishing agent following hydroxide precipitation
