CIMGUARD OAK PROTECT 2405 is a solvent/oil-based corrosion preventive formulated for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. When used as received, this product can provide up to 24 months of indoor protection and outdoor protection if parts are stored properly. CIMGUARD OAK PROTECT 2405 is resistant to high humidity and acid atmospheres, and it deposits a thin, oily residue that can be cleaned by aqueous cleaners or vapor degreasers. Although it can be diluted with solvent or oil, doing so will reduce the protection time. For best results, metal parts should be cleaned prior to application, and the solvent should be given adequate drying time before parts are packed.
